In our webinar back in May, we were ecstatic to welcome Mobble’s CEO and co-founder, Jock Lawrence, to showcase the features and benefits of Mobble, that’s all about making farmers’ lives easier.

Jock and Mobble’s NZ Farmer Success Lead, Katie McCabe, offered a three-month free trial to engaged Kiwi farmers to explore for themselves how this software can benefit their farming operation.

One sheep and beef farmer in Te Pohoe said they found the app helpful and easy to use, “It really does work like a farm notebook in one place,” they said. “The interactive map was definitely useful.”

Katie reinforced that the main goal of getting involved with the Pilot Farm Network was to seek feedback directly from the New Zealand market, to further inform product development.

“The great news is that some improvements are already in motion,” she said.

Katie gave the example of working closely with the Ravensdown Team to assist farmers while uploading Hawkeye Maps to Mobble, to make the set up seamless.

Mobble is a simple and flexible farm management software that prides itself on stripping back complications and putting the focus on connection and communication.

The app is used by more than 2,600 farmers globally, on more than 2,000 sheep, cattle, deer, goat, and pig properties.

Some of the current app features:

  • Simplify livestock farm management. Available online and offline and on any device
  • Ability to connect your whole farming team and simplified accreditation and audit processes
  • Ability to visualize every mob, paddock and property from the mapping page a map feature, assign geolocated tasks and set reminders
  • Utilise the automatic days grazed/days rested counter to improve grazing management
  • Keep farm and livestock records and reports in one place, including rainfall records.

“Overall the Pilot Farm Network has helped us get Mobble in front of even more farmers in the New Zealand market,” says Katie. “It’s been a valuable learning process for us, and we’re eager to be involved in future initiatives with Agnition and your farmer networks.”
